    Culture, Learning, and Technology

In Module 3, we read eight articles that are part of a special issue of TechTrends that focuses on culture, learning, and technology. Culture and Technology

For the Module 2 assignment, my task was to design an educational or training activity enhanced by technology, to teach about cultural differences. Defining Culture

The Module 1 assignment was to design a 5-6 minute presentation exploring my cultural perspective and then specifically relate it to my behavior in the learning environments I have encountered. In considering learning environments, I was to focus on one specific environment, or I could cover several, depending upon how I focused my discussion. I needed to evaluate the topics and subtopics covered and clarify my cultural beliefs about learning and culture.

On the other hand, how culture fits in with learning and technology sounds like a great way to increase my knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Take a look at the course information below. Official Course Description This course examines theories and research in cultural psychology. Students will investigate the relationships among culture, learning, and human development in school and other contexts...
