We were also to reflect on the relationship building skills needed to work with support resources to promote student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were to create a presentation showcasing at least two local agencies (community or internal educational \/ school support). The presentation should include the agencies&#8217; names, locations, criteria for students to receive support, and cost to families. We were also to explain five specific relationship building skills teachers need to establish school-family partnerships to support\u00a0<strong><em>all<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0students in learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were to review the following resources before we began our assignment as they would inform our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Read<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/nationalu.brightspace.com\/content\/enforced\/11679-ITL530-029462-NUO-V2\/Week%20Two\/Schools%20Families%20and%20Social%20Emotional%20Learning.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Schools, Families, and Social and Emotional Learning \u2013 Ideas and Tools for Working with Parents and Families (2005)<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; PDF Document&nbsp;<em>(897.4 KB)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/schoolguide.casel.org\/focus-area-3\/family-partnerships\/\" target=\"_blank\">Focus Area 3 \u2013 Family Partnerships<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/drc.casel.org\/promote-sel-for-students\/family-and-community-partnerships\/\" target=\"_blank\">Develop and Strengthen Family and Community Partnerships<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prompt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After reviewing the assigned resources, we were tasked to conduct independent research for credible sources to support our presentation on teacher\/school partnerships with the communities they serve, local support agencies, and families.
