This year&#8217;s poster session will be structured similarly to a virtual conference poster session. we were allowed to draw from our dissertation or work completed in our courses in order to develop this presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our presentation was to be a 3-4 minute overview of the topic\/focus we selected. As with poster sessions in both live and virtual conferences, we will present our presentation several times as students rote through our room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">we were to select <strong>one option<\/strong> from the following poster session formats:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">i. <strong>Research in Progress:<\/strong> In this session, participants will present research they are in the process of conducting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ii. <strong>Technology Advancements:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share an innovative technology tool and how it can be used in diverse learning settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">iii. <strong>Discovery Session:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share their current research ideas and interests in order to seek feedback and recommendations from peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">iv. <strong>Application of Learning:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share their ideas for applying a specific course experience to their professional practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">v. <strong>Community Focused:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share how their EPT work or research specifically is impacting their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the oral presentation, we were also to create a one-page PDF file that provides a visual of our work<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/passionateteachingjourney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Poster-Session-Technology-Advancements-Digital-Poster-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/passionateteachingjourney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Poster-Session-Technology-Advancements-Digital-Poster-819x1024.jpg 819w, https:\/\/passionateteachingjourney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Poster-Session-Technology-Advancements-Digital-Poster-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/passionateteachingjourney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Poster-Session-Technology-Advancements-Digital-Poster-768x960.jpg 768w, https:\/\/passionateteachingjourney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Poster-Session-Technology-Advancements-Digital-Poster-1229x1536.jpg 1229w, https:\/\/passionateteachingjourney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Poster-Session-Technology-Advancements-Digital-Poster.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For our first residency, we were to prepare a poster: The poster session will be held on Tuesday, June 6th.
