For our first residency, we were to prepare a poster: The poster session will be held on Tuesday, June 6th<\/strong>. This year’s poster session will be structured similarly to a virtual conference poster session. we were allowed to draw from our dissertation or work completed in our courses in order to develop this presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our presentation was to be a 3-4 minute overview of the topic\/focus we selected. As with poster sessions in both live and virtual conferences, we will present our presentation several times as students rote through our room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we were to select one option<\/strong> from the following poster session formats:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

i. Research in Progress:<\/strong> In this session, participants will present research they are in the process of conducting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii. Technology Advancements:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share an innovative technology tool and how it can be used in diverse learning settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii. Discovery Session:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share their current research ideas and interests in order to seek feedback and recommendations from peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iv. Application of Learning:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share their ideas for applying a specific course experience to their professional practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

v. Community Focused:<\/strong> In this session, participants will share how their EPT work or research specifically is impacting their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the oral presentation, we were also to create a one-page PDF file that provides a visual of our work.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
